Personal Background:

• Early Years:  Unbeknownst to the young Kailorien, upon his 4th birthday, Ki Sazen summoned the Barsan’thor, a close friend from their time together on Tython, a Jedi healer she had not seen since he left on a mission to save Master Youn. Dharo Fes arrived shortly thereafter on the Agaris mining station Copora Alpha to discover a small blue skinned Zabraki child who radiated force power in the office of the Republic Marshal and a coded hologram.
• The cloaked Jedi stood gracefully in the blue tint of the hologram, the corruption of the darkness shining via the golden red of her once brilliantly emerald eyes. “Dharo – in all these years, I never met a being whose grace and mannerisms so mimicked yours. Maybe that’s why I …. it seemed the best way to escape my defeat at his hands. The mistake stands before you. Do what you will.”
• Kailorien’s force sensitivity proved extreme, and while he spent two years in the loving care of his uncle and his wife Nadia, his cousins already gone from the home, his growing power included the ability to since surface thoughts, and he sensed Nadia’s quick spike of anger every time he asked for his mother. Shortly after his sixth birthday he pressed the question at his adopted parents instinctually pushing with his power until Dharo relented, making a promise that could only be upheld if Kai began to control his abilities via training at the hands of Dharo, Nadia, and Dharo’s dear friend Detruza.
• On his eigth birthday, Dharo kept his promise, revealing to his son the truth of his birth parents, naming his biological mother, and providing the genetic test results and Dharo’s suspicion that his father was Dharo’s long missing younger brother Khalor.
  • His Training: Upon his arrival on Tython, Kai trained under multiple masters, developing skills that when combined with his force sensitivity to the thoughts of other sentient beings, allowed him to quickly attain high marks in infiltration exercises. Jedi Master Ziaran supervised his final stages, attempting to help him raise barriers around his anger, focusing his anger into powers derived of the dark force, teaching him techniques that muted his abilities when the rage would rise within him, in a way blocking him from the force when emotions rocked him. A very dangerous method frowned upon by the rest of the council, who feared that the mental strain would eventually drive the young jedi towards the true dark side.

• Recent Years: Apparently the tortorous mental exercises muted the anger sufficiently for the young Jedi to succeed in passing his trials upon Tython, eventually completing his training under Master Youn. Much of the council feel that only his uncle Dharo’s utter faith in Kailorien, and that level of peace that Kailorien sensed any time Dharo, Detruza and Nadia were near allowed hiim to learn the extreme focus necessary to balance his dark powers in the service of the light.
• Current Years: Kailorien’s skills have led to his being chosen for assignment to an extremely secretive Jedi Assassin unit under the control of the Republic SIS, rumored to be led by Theron Shan

Skills:

• Stealth Force User. A deadly assassin, he uses his mental force abilities to disable opponents in the darkness, allowing him to infiltrate at need. When in control of his emotions, his abilties with the dark side of the force make him a powerful asset behind the lines.

Relationships:

• Slightly more open about his dark abilities with his family, he is comfortable with using any of his abilities around Dharo and Nadia. His uncle’s faith and trust helps keep him balanced. As a part of the Fes family, he has met many of the Wardens of the Light
• Given his unique training and the multitude of Masters who provided him training, he is not close to many of the other former youngsters.
• Perversely, he is drawn to the also young Jedi assassin, Zohsa Kesh. Recognizing similar dark abilities under her control, he is fascinated by the fact that he is not alone with the darkness.
