Khalor Fes

Khalor Fes – The Unassailable

Race & Culture: Ferroan / Chiss from the planet Zokoma Sekat

Ferroans are pale-blue sklinned humanoids with gold eyes. Most females had white hair but some had traditional black hair. They are originally from the core Ferro systems, members of the Galactic Republic who did not always follow Republican law They are known their independence, reclusive manner, and for not often leaving their inner Ferroan systems. A Ferroan year was equal to 3 standard years. However, at one point a splinter sect of Ferroan Force users left Ferro, discovering and settling the planet near the edges of Wild Space, in a region extremely difficult to travers, where they celebrate Uniting Day with the banished force using cult of Chiss settlers who arrived on Zonoma Sekat aproximatley a century later. Most colonists, including the later Chiss settlers believed in the ideals of the Potentium.

Chiss are a near-human sentient species that possessed blue skin, red eyes, and dark blue hair. They hailed from the planet Csilla. The Chiss were notable for the nature and structure of their families, and how Chiss families dominated many aspects of Chiss society. The Chiss Ascendancy is the governing body of the Chiss. Their domain was located in the Unknown Regions. The banished three families and followers who eventually settled upon Zonoma Sekot differed from normal Chiss as they consciously focused on improving the force abilities of all users and quickly intermingled with the Ferroan shortly after colonization.

Zonama Sekot is an astronomical object located in the Unknown Regions in grid square F-13 on the Standard Galactic Grid. It was situated in an otherwise empty and unexplored area in the neighborhood of the planets Ahch-To and Rakata Prime, westward of the desert world Jakku, which was located in the Western Reaches of the Inner Rim. Zonama Sekot was unique from other worlds. Its north polar region, a spot of pearl white was surrounded by an entire hemisphere of tropical jungles. Its southern hemisphere was covered with impenetrable silvery clouds. Along the equator there were several rivers, lakes, and small seas. The edge of the southern hemisphere was also covered by elegant wisps of wind which frequently broke free to form spinning storms. Zonama Sekot’s first settlers were black-haired humanoid Ferroan colonists and red-skinned Langhesi colonists. The Ferroans were believers in the Potentium view of the Force. The Langhesi and Ferroans settled the planet along with a small colony of a banished colony of Chiss force sensitives and users. Within a century of the banishment, the Chiss and Ferroans had intermingled, developing an extremely vibrant, force sensitive, highly polite but xenophobic society. The planet can only be easily reached via travel through a dangerous corridor of space within one of its living ships, or perhaps an exceptionally gifted pilot in a very durable small ship. Although the planet attempted to remain neutral and offer custom made ships to the wealthy elites of the galaxy, the galactic wars forced them to choose sides. A small Republic military outpost was built in orbit, but Jedi were specifically forbidden from landing upon the planet.

Personal Background:

  • Early Years:
    • Early Childhood – Unlike his twin the flamboyant and outgoing Mhaloren, Khalor proved a loner from the beginning. He trained with his father Sarien, the house weaponsmaster, Oriel Nes, as well as the house Forbelean Arts Master, as soon as he could walk. His mastery of langues meant he was fluent in a dozen ten by the time he was eight. His reading list surpassed most elite academy students in a variety of subjects by the time fate would interven at age nine. Of all the four male twins, he spent the most time in the company of his sisters. He and Mhaloren had a unique link, and as twins knew when the others were troubled or elated or in pain. Kalor took inordinate joy in being unfindable by anyone, especially his older brothers who could never sense him with their force abilities, victories that often made Dharo laugh and caused Jhaloren’s temper to rise. Khalor remembers little of these years thanks to the next decade of mental conditioning, although the screams of his mother, sister and laughter of his brother Jhaloren haunt his dreams with little context. Raised by Captain Jaelen Renta of the Imperial Navy and his wife Dr. Sarla Renta, the memories indicate a relatively normal years of superlative education and normalcy combined with intense medical treatment for his delusions of war and remembrance of family members that were not his.
    • Middle Childhood – Khalor remembers little of these years thanks to the next decade of mental conditioning, although the screams of his mother, sister and laughter of his brother Jhaloren haunt his dreams with little context. Raised by Captain Jaelen Renta of the Imperial Navy and his wife Dr. Sarla Renta, the memories indicate a relatively normal years of superlative education and normalcy combined with intense medical treatment for his delusions of war and remembrance of a family that was not his. . The Imperial Science Bureau took charge of his medical treatments during his time at the Academy, although their activities were overseen by the Intelligence division’s head of alien research, Dr. Eckard Lokin.
    • Recent Years: At the age of eighteen, Khalor entered the Imperial Intelligence Academy, where he quickly excelled due to his mastery of langues, now fully fluent in forty-three distinct languages without the use of a translator pad or protocol droid, also scoring top of the class in hand to hand combat, in sniper training, and scoring perfectly on every infiltration test or scenario in which he ever participated. Khalor excelled at all methods of infiltration due to “honey trap techniques” regardless of gender or humanoid race. After four years at the academy, Khalor disappeared into a two year long deep cover training division of Imperial Intelligence, where training became more about enduring physical and cosmetic reconstruction over and over with the help of both bioengineering and cybernetic implants. As long as it was even remotely within the physical range of his own body, modified through minor or major cosmetic surgery including bone exensions and deep physical reconstruction, Khalor learned how to move with elite and shadowy invisibility, becoming a chameleon able to deceive anyone.
    • Current Years: Khalor rose through the ranks of Imperial Intelligence, year after year, mission after mission, learning more languages, infiltrating more cultures and planets and society’s. He proved insanely adept at infiltrating force using groups, and where necessary, tricking, seducing or assasinnating Jedi and Sith lords alike. As the years, and even decades passed, many covers and personalities crowded his mind. So much so that he has often wondered at his true identity. He carried on a torrid love affair with his companion and then wife, Kaliyo Djannis, for over a decade before meeting his second wife Raena Temple, a fellow intelligence officer formerly assigned to the Chiss Ascendancy.
      • He has suffered betrayals by his superiors at Imperial Intelligence, mentally conditioned after being captured by the Republic to be a double agent, and then supposedly broken of all mental conditioning a couple of years ago. However, his spouses Kaliyo and Raena worked together discovered that Dr. Lokin, his trusted ally and medical officer, had for years been acting as an agent for another entity and experimenting on Khalor, attempting to re-create children with more frequency and regularly than the extremely rare Seketian null that Khalor possesses. Experimentation included increased attempts at fertility and cross compatibility with almost any near-human instead of the standard imperial intelligence attempt to prevent conception by their cypher agents. Combined with the requirements of the position, and his natural charisma and preferences, the likelihood of conception across multiple partners has been high. When the truth was discovered, Lokin’s ability to mutate did not save him from the torture led by Kaliyo to divulge the true master of the experiment, the former head of the Imperial Science Bureau, Sith Lord and Dark Council Member Jhaloren Fes.
      • When approached at the end of the war by his former boss about reforming Imperial Intelligence, Khalor agreed, he and his wives planning to use the position and power to find the children and hide and protect them from Jhaloren’s experimentation. Betrayed by so many, Khalor disappeared into the galaxy, leaving Raena and Kaliyo to provide misdirection from the search, searching and finding a Mirilian mystic specializing in healing the mind and body. As a result, he is now capable of controlling to a limited degree his force nullification, able for short periods of time to project a superficial life force.
      • He has now returned to take the reigns of the new Imperial Intelligence Division, with a different face of course. Khalor trusts no one outside of his two partners, and his three (known to him) children. As a member of House of Blood Star under an assumed identity, he uses his intelligence gathering skills and assassination abilities to maintain watch on Jhaloren’s activities. He searches for direction in his life, balancing on a razor’s edge to protect his family, all of them, regardless of whether they or he know it. No means are outside the line when it comes to his objective.

Skills:

Force Ability: Null. Khalor is a rare genetic offshoot of the Seketian Ferroan line which an individual does not appear to have force energy, thus undetectable to force users. While not a true nullification, its a natural force bubble similar to the Ysalamiri tree-lizards of the planet Myrkr. The Ferroans have kept this secret for generations, atttempting to allow no known null off planet.

Infiltration: Khalor can assume any roll, any identity, and is completely fluent in nearly one hundred languages. So may biosculpts have occurred that the face he now wears is the one he most remembers as himself, along with Raena and Kaliyo. He uses charm and his incredible natural presence, and is a master at flirtation, to suborn women of any near-human species. He is the epitomy of social and cultural etiquette regardless of the group or planet he is inserted within.

Martial Arts Assassin: Khalor prefers to work with short blaces in a variety of styles but is also a Master of the Chiss Forbelean Arts.
